And so I ask you:

Cel: Do you renounce sin, so as to live in the freedom of the children of God?
All: I do.
Cel: Do you renounce the lure of evil, so that sin may have no mastery over you?
All: I do.
Cel: Do you renounce Satan, the author and prince of sin?
All: I do.
Cel: Do you believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth?
All: I do.
Cel: Do you believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was born of the Virgin Mary, suffered death and was buried, rose again from the dead and is seated at the right hand of the Father?

All: I do.
Cel: And may almighty God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has given us new birth by water and the Holy Spirit and bestowed on us forgiveness of our sins, keep us by his grace, in Christ Jesus our Lord, for eternal life.
All : Amen.
(The Priest sprinkles the people with the blessed water, while all sing):

3. For the sick and the suffering that the example of Jesus who suffered and rose from the dead may bring solace and consolation in their suffering, we pray … R/
4. For all Christians that they may recommit themselves to the faith that they have received at baptism and show willingness to live the faith with earnestness, we pray … R/
5. For all of us present in this Eucharistic assembly that the celebration of Easter may motivate us to proclaim the message of Easter with boldness and courage as the apostles did, we pray … R/
(Pause to pray for personal and community needs)
Cel: God, our Father, we thank you for the gift of your Son Jesus whose glorious resurrection we celebrate today. His glorification is the reward for the work of redemption that he carried out in obedience to your will. Give us the grace that we may live our lives according to his teaching until we too rise with him one day. We make this prayer …
Exultant with paschal gladness, O Lord, we offer the sacrifice by which
