As for me, in justice I shall behold your face; I shall be filled with the vision of your glory. (Ps 16:15)
A believer in God will agree that in order to enjoy God’s favour he/she has to love God with all his/her heart, mind, soul and strength. There cannot be any other way to honour God. It is the greatness of Jesus who points out that there should be a similar disposition when it comes to dealing with one’s fellow human beings. Neighbour is a generic term for the vast humanity on whom we depend practically for every need of ours. So the question is: why do we shy away when we see one of them in need? The parable of the Good Samaritan is an eye opener for all of us. When the priest and the Levite did not help the person in need a Samaritan came to his help. The priest and the Levite had finished their duty in the Temple and were going back to their homes whereas the Samaritan was on a mission. Yet he stopped and helped the man. Next time when we meet a person in need will we become his Good Samaritan? (Pause)
I confess to almighty God/and to you,/my brothers and sisters,/that I have greatly sinned,/in my thoughts and in my words,/in what I have done and in what I have failed to do,/through my fault,/through my fault,/through my most grievous fault;/therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin,/all the Angels
and Saints,/and you,/my brothers and sisters,/to pray for me to the Lord our God.
Glory to God in the highest...

“For this commandment which I command you this day is not too hard for you, neither is it far off. It is not in heaven, that you should say, ‘Who will go up for us to heaven, and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’ Neither is
